6 years of development have gone into the i2in content management system; my contents. This system forms the basis of any website we programme so you can always update your own content and work on base search engine optimisation. It can also be retro fitted to most other websites and because we have progarmmed it, every content management system (the backend) can be bespoke to a client's needs (not just the frontend).

 

Key features

  • Easy to use interface where the user has a direct copy of the website and simply clicks on a section to edit. This links any editing and changes more directly to the website instead of just using a form structure.
  • The edit window allows for the editing of text, images and addition of audio/video to the website, including web cams. All text is published in the brand styles. Text can be easily added from Microsoft Word and further manipulated using different layout features and anchors.
  • Easy creation of new pages within sections and new website sections from the project templates. The system works by you choosing a suitable template for your new content and then appropriate menu and URL names; it then creates the HTML document from the template base and the editable information you have added which is stored as database content.
  • Page hierarchy overview system so pages can be easily created, moved and edited which can directly populate all menus including sub menus
  • Search engine optimisation feature where appropriate information for search engines can be added to every page directly by the client, so new pages can immediately be optimised. This covers all meta tags, as well as the frequency the page is updated and its relative importance within the website.
  • The content management system is continually upgraded to ensure it can provide the user with the latest website technology at their fingertips, such as automatic site map generation, a key feature to help search engines successfully navigate and index all pages, as well as an extra navigation aid to the web user.
  • Complete integration with our e-newsletter system (programmed by i2in), so website subscribes are automatically added to email lists and e-newsletters can be sent using e-center, again developed to meet individual client needs and have the same editing suite as the CMS to reduce system training required.
  • Easy export of all data, such as contact information, email signups and forms submitted. All information is stored in a secure database and information sent to and from this database is encrypted.
  • Integration with social media (facebook, twitter information, plus ability to share website information across these networks)
  • A news function allows for all news to be published in a RSS feed which can easily be picked up by a wider web audience.
